Easter Kit Inspiration

Some Bunny Misses You

Today I’m sharing this soft and cheerful handmade Easter card — perfect for celebrating the season of renewal and springtime joy.

This design features embossed cloud background with an old Cuttlebug embossing folder and a sweet Easter sentiment and bunny that makes it perfect for gifting to family, friends, or adding to an Easter basket. I love how the tones and layered elements capture that fresh, spring-inspired feel.  Shopping your old stash can be so much fun!

Best Floral

Always looking for ways get creativity flowing and I find sketches are one of the best ways for this. I used sketch 724 on freshly made sketches for the inspiration for this card. The florals are inked and cut with concord and 9th dies. This card was so fun to create and came out just beautifully.

Thank you Freshly Made Sketches

Falling Skulls

I'm not really sure who to give credit to on Pinterest as this post was found on the website Two Peas In A Bucket gallery. Sadly this website as close down.  I think it was done by a lady named Alice Carmen. Usually my boss ends up picking her own Halloween cards by telling me which one she likes when she sees me post them from Pintrest onto my Facebook. She raved about this card! Unfortunately, I was not able to finish it before this Halloween but I'm definitely ready for next Halloween. The skull stamps came from a JustRite stamp set called Boo-tiful Cameos. The background, I stamped several different stamps from several different sets in Versamark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. The card itself was designed in Cricut Design Space by just taking a card base and a branch and a spider web that I found a free SVG for on the web. It really did come to together quite beautifully.

Hey Pumpkin

Second Halloween card down.  Many to go :-)  This was inspired by Sheri Gilson.  I wish I had her spider punch! This was done with things I already had on hand.   I used Hero Arts and Avery Elle stamps.   On the pumpkin I put glaze pen on the eyes and mouth because I just thought it looked too plain without. I followed this with my clear Wink of Stella glitter pen.   With the dark papers the pumpkin was just fading in too much.  I showed two pics so one shows the shine and the other does not.  Have I mentioned I love Halloween? Lol.

Boo to you

Halloween begins! Today inspiration, once again, comes from Pinterest. I have to say the number of cards that I re-pinned this year was crazy! This card was inspired by Amy over at Prairie Paper and Ink. I loved her bright colors that she used but unfortunately while looking through my papers I just didn't have anything that bright.  So this is my take with my own quatrefoil die from Papertrey Ink and just some paper from my stash. The stamps where from JustRite stamps. It definitely was a quick and easy card but I do think that whomever I end up giving this to will like it. This is the first Halloween card in a series. I'm not sure how many I will have time to do with homework season happening. I will certainly get as done as possible as i have many people that I would love to give a homemade Halloween card to.  Well that's it for today and I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of your week.

Sprinkled Joy

So I recently was able to get a hold of a discontinued product by Papertrey Ink and I'm seriously loving it. The product is the Shakers and Sprinkles kit. This kit has been so much fun to play with. Obviously, like all of my cards and crafts, this one is inspired by a picture of another card I found on Pinterest, possibly by one of the design team members, Dawn McVey. I just loved all the colors and the way this card came together. These dies are so easy to use. It makes shaker cards a breeze. May you be inspired like I was. All products used are by Papertrey Ink and Simon Says Stamp.
I'm not sure if I'm going to be making more shaker cards and posting those or if I'm going to go ahead and start my Halloween cards. I've been scanning Pinterest for weeks planning my cards to give to family and friends for Halloween. There have been so many fantastic cards posted lately. I wish I was half as creative as the people that post to some of the wonderful blogs I visit. Until next time, keep crafting.
