Boo to you

Halloween begins! Today inspiration, once again, comes from Pinterest. I have to say the number of cards that I re-pinned this year was crazy! This card was inspired by Amy over at Prairie Paper and Ink. I loved her bright colors that she used but unfortunately while looking through my papers I just didn't have anything that bright.  So this is my take with my own quatrefoil die from Papertrey Ink and just some paper from my stash. The stamps where from JustRite stamps. It definitely was a quick and easy card but I do think that whomever I end up giving this to will like it. This is the first Halloween card in a series. I'm not sure how many I will have time to do with homework season happening. I will certainly get as done as possible as i have many people that I would love to give a homemade Halloween card to.  Well that's it for today and I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of your week.

Sprinkled Joy

So I recently was able to get a hold of a discontinued product by Papertrey Ink and I'm seriously loving it. The product is the Shakers and Sprinkles kit. This kit has been so much fun to play with. Obviously, like all of my cards and crafts, this one is inspired by a picture of another card I found on Pinterest, possibly by one of the design team members, Dawn McVey. I just loved all the colors and the way this card came together. These dies are so easy to use. It makes shaker cards a breeze. May you be inspired like I was. All products used are by Papertrey Ink and Simon Says Stamp.
I'm not sure if I'm going to be making more shaker cards and posting those or if I'm going to go ahead and start my Halloween cards. I've been scanning Pinterest for weeks planning my cards to give to family and friends for Halloween. There have been so many fantastic cards posted lately. I wish I was half as creative as the people that post to some of the wonderful blogs I visit. Until next time, keep crafting.

We All Scream For Ice Cream

So today's card is inspired by by another Pinterest card that I found by Rita Wright.  This card was using the Simon Says Stamp August 2014 card kit. So far this kit has been lots of fun. It just makes you feel so much like summer and everyone loves ice cream in summer. Thanks for stopping by and have a crafty day!

You're so cool

Okay, so I haven't finished the other project I was working on and I completely sidetracked. I belong to the Simon Says Stamp monthly card kit club and love all the beautiful inspiration that I find across Pinterest and many different blogs to scraplift and give to my friends and family as special cards. That being said, here is one of the newer cards I just finished that I found on Pinterest from Just Jingle blogspot done by Jennifer.  I haven't done a lot of watercolor but I just got this new watercolor palette from Scrapbooking Made Simple and they are all so shiny.  I thought it gave the card just a little something extra since I didn't use the glitter on the background like Jennifer did, I just used modeling paste.  It's always nice to have cards on hand for whenever you need them. I hope this card inspires you like hers did me.

Easter scene

Ok.   So I know I said I was going to post more.   Life got busy again:-)  Here is my version of a journal page by Shari Carroll.  I will post progress pictures as I go along as there is quite a bit of drying time in between layers.   I've never done any sort of collage before so we will see how it goes.   Here's to crafty fun!
